Being a happy photographer means you’ve balanced work that generates payment with work you love to make. Means you make photographs because you love the work, and you have the creativity and energy to continue learning a little each time. And sharing. And bringing love into people’s lives. (and I can shoot photo even when a migraine is in full swing…something about being behind the lens…it’s magical healing powers)

We found the best brewery beer and unique cuisine, in Boone, North Carolina. With exceptional American fusion concepts like – avocado, bacon, bison burger with fried okra and a venison burger with sour apple pickles and aged cheddar cheese – the pinball and space invader machines along with some lovely brew selections the most memorable of which were the tiny glasses of the 8oz powerful stout – hints of chocolate, coffee, creamy and thick – reminiscent of a Poor Richard’s beer! We were missing the musket fire and raccoon hats! But loving the small business and the people we met here!!! Going back again! Soon. College towns are great for this sort of character!
